Meet Linda
Thank you for taking an interest in getting to know me.
People tell me that I’m down-to-earth and easy to talk with. That I am thoughtful, insightful and they appreciate my valuable input.
I call myself a mindset mentor. People ask, “you mean a life coach?” Well, yeah, kinda…here’s what I found when I googled “life coach”:
A life coach is a type of wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches can help you clarify your goals, identify the obstacles holding you back, and then come up with strategies for overcoming each obstacle.
Okay, so yes…
I help people to be well and make progress in their lives.
I help people focus on the things that matter most to them (core values) so they can be more fulfilled.
I help identify patterns in the thoughts, beliefs, and words they use that hold them back.
I help them find new thoughts, beliefs, and words to create new patterns that serve them better.
By “people”, I mean women. (Sorry guys, maybe someday.)
It all starts in the mind - in how you see yourself and the world. THAT’s where I help women focus to create long-lasting change.
Your thoughts affect the way you feel.
The way you feel affects your actions.
Your actions affect your results.
Your results affect your lifestyle.
If you want to change your life, we start with your mindset because it matters most. Therefore, I am a mindset mentor.
My Story….Why I Do What I Do
For 25+ years my mission has been teaching women to celebrate life through their photos and memories and the importance of preserving them. I also teach how they can use them to keep their families close no matter the time or the distance.
This passion was born from losing my parents at young ages. Mom was only 48 when she succumbed to depression and took her own life. Four years later Dad lost his battle to cancer at only 54. We were left with a few boxes of loose photos, but unfortunately, the stories died with them.
In my business training, I learned how our minds work and I learned how to train my brain to create the results I want. I benefitted greatly from this training for 10+ years, so naturally, I share what I’ve learned with my business team as well. I also give family and friends quick brain training tricks and tips to help them when they are struggling with something.
Because of my family history, I am very aware that teens and adults have been experiencing more anxiety, depression, and suicide. A few years ago, at one local restaurant three co-workers (mid-20s to mid-30s) took their lives in a 2-month timeframe. I thought “how can we live in a world (especially in the U.S.) where young people feel so hopeless that they take their own lives? Why don’t they teach us these brain tricks and tips in school?” It was then that I felt God nudge my heart to share what I’ve learned with more people. The world needs it now more than ever.
Even before the pandemic, anxiety, depression, and suicide in teens and young adults had been on the rise. I realize depression can be a complex issue requiring professional and medical attention. But I believe if more people understood the power of their minds and how they can control what they think and therefore how they feel, then they might be able to avoid the path of anxiety and depression, and never consider suicide as a solution.
I continue to hear so many women, especially moms, say how stressed out and overwhelmed they are. In this fast-paced world where there are so many things competing for our attention 24/7 it can truly be difficult to manage. And much of what we hear in the news and social media is negative. No wonder there's so much anxiety and depression.
That’s why I decided to expand my reach beyond my business team and teach this information to other direct sales/network marketing business leaders and their teams. I can relate to the mindset pitfalls that cause self-doubt and negative self-talk. I can relate to wanting to help team members who have lost that initial enthusiasm they had when they joined your team and now are ready to give up. More and more women want the flexibility of this kind of business so they can contribute to the family budget AND work alongside their family's priorities. I can be a resource to show them how to have a calm, happy, and satisfying journey that will benefit the whole family.
I've also worked with women on co-worker clashes, in-law issues, and low self-esteem and self-confidence. Learning how the brain works and how to work it is foundational to creating success in ALL areas of life.
The bigger mission is that once women learn these techniques and strategies, they will model it and teach their families too. Once empowered you will see that together we can create and live in a more positive and happier world. Instead of thinking that we have no choice in how the world is we can be the change we want to see in the world. We can create a ripple effect spreading far and wide even if it’s one person and one family at a time.
